Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James has been complaining about sleeved jerseys for years, and he finally had enough on Wednesday. Against the New York Knicks, he ripped his sleeve in the middle of the game:
He finished the job in the next timeout, using a pair of scissors to cut the sleeves off. Clearly, the sleeves were too constricting for James when he tried to shoot.
I can’t imagine NBA commissioner Adam Silver, who has talked to James about this very issue, will be thrilled to see arguably the best player in the league do something like this on national television.
