Scott Van Pelt made a very clear statement on ESPN. Beyond anything you have seen on TV lately, Lamar Odom was an NBA star before he got caught up with the Kardashians. Some fail to notice that success Lamar Odom had in his life because its been clouded with his post NBA career.

When we all see news that Odom is currently in a hospital fighting for his life, we recall his one of a kind 14-season NBA career, his NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers and his Sixth Man of the Year Award.
